About Silk Road Bloodstock
We are a Dubai-based bloodstock agency. We find and buy racehorses with the best European bloodlines for owners in the Gulf and around the world. Then we place each horse with the right licensed trainer and look after it on the owner's behalf.
Why we exist
The Gulf has some of the richest racing in the world, and many owners who love it. The great bloodlines, though, are bred in Britain, Ireland and France. Buying there from Dubai can feel distant, opaque and full of hidden costs. We built Silk Road Bloodstock to be the clear, honest bridge between the two.
How we work
- Dubai base, European reach. We work with an experienced associate bloodstock agent in Newmarket, who inspects horses and attends the sales for our clients.
- Licensed trainers train; we supervise. We choose the trainer with you and check that the plan is followed.
- Everything in writing: fees, limits and reports. Our seven promises.
- English and Arabic.
What we do
- Buying at the European sales and privately, from US$50,000 per horse, for a 5% fee.
- Management with licensed trainers, from US$2,000 per horse per month.
- Transport to the Gulf and beyond.
- Ownership consultancy for first-time and international owners.
